I've been hooked on these ever since I visited Moscow (many, many moons ago!). There was a market stall will hundreds of these wooden dolls on. A glorious sight!
One of my favourite possessions is the set of 15 stacked dolls I bought in a wood-burned design and gold. I love all the bright details they usually have, but in the end it was the simple set which stole my heart.

These pages are glorious! I am loving your art pages. I am glad I found your blog. I love Matroshka dolls too. I had visitors here from Russia that gave me several and they are some of my favorite things.
