Trying to catch up
Well yet again it's been a while! It's not that I'm not beavering away in my journal, because I am (albeit a little slower than before) it's just that I seem to be far too lazy to take the photos and the writing. For the past year I have been participating in a craft market once a month and so much time is spent preparing things for that that this has taken a bit of a back seat. Sorry, I must do better! ;)
Here are some past pages by way of a catch-up...
Experimenting with a different style...
I think this might have been my favourite spread so far in this book. There's just something about the style here and way the two pages work together, the legs on the left and the stargazer on the right, that just seems right to me. Maybe it's the difference in images, or the colours?

Your pages are so saturated with color and energy. I love the spread with the legs and stargazer best too!
All of them are beautiful, but I am really drawn to the one with all the different layers with what looks like a red monster peaking from behind something.
Love your work, it always inspires me. Now I need to go create something :0)
